Adho Mukha Shavasana
Come onto the floor with your hands and knees. Set your knees directly below your hips and your hands slightly forward of your shoulders. Curl your toes under and spread your fingers out on the ground to help you feel stable and grounded through your arms. On an exhalation raise your hips upward, pushing into the floor with your hands and pressing your heels down toward the floor, initially keeping your knees slightly bent. Take care that your weight is evenly distributed between your hands and feet. Hold this post or move on to straighten your legs,
with your heels continuing to descend to the floor, so that your heel grounded through your legs and feet as well as through your arms and hands, while your hips reach upward. Hold for 4 to 10 breaths. To recover, reverse the path taken into the position.
Do this for at least 1 minute daily. For better head blood circulation, high BP etc, practice this yoga regularly.
Vajrasana
Simply lying on your back with hands and legs wide apart makes a yoga asana – shavasana. Talking of easy postures, today we shall talk about an asana that looks extremely stress-free yet does a great deal for the body.
Do this daily for at least 3 minutes. It helps in eye sight and hair related problems, it also helps for piles, acidity and knee related problems.
Apanasana
Lie on your back, and place your palms on your knees. As you exhale pull your legs to your chest gently. Allow your legs to move with the strength of your thighs rather than using your arms to pull them in too much. When you inhale loosen your grip, allowing your legs to move completely away from your tummy. Do this for a few breathes at your own pace. Let your breathe guide your movement. Hold this position for some time.
Close your eyes, and if your mind is not at rest try counting your breaths. This helps reign in the mind and helps it calm down. When you feel calm, slowly lower your legs to the floor and relax.
Apanasan is a great pose to relieve gas in the stomach, acidity, indigestion, constipation, apanasana is very effective for belly fat, high BP, hair fall and keeps your mind calm.
Pawanmuktasana
Exhale and while inhaling slowly raise the legs to a 90 degree angle from the floor.
Bend both legs at the knees and rest the thighs against the abdomen, keeping the knees and ankles together.
Encircle the knees with both arms, hands clasping opposite elbows.
Bend the neck and place the chin on the knees. Continue to maintain the asana, breathing normally.
This pose is good for Abdomen (especially lower abdomen), thighs, hips and body blood circulation.
